About Us
To start, I'll introduce ourselves. I grew up in Utah as the 5th of 6 kids. I spent my days playing sports, enjoying Utah recreation, running marathons, and reading my days away. Dave grew up in Mesa, Arizona and enjoys everything from long boarding to playing ultimate frisbee. We met at BYU and were married 8 months later in the Mount Timpanogus LDS Temple. We love being married and starting our own little family. Dave is studying to be a dentist and I want to work in the fitness and wellness/financial field (if they even relate). We have both lived in South America and we love the latin culture. We enjoy doing anything from snow boarding to eating to mountain biking in Moab. We love life and are excited for our future together.
In light of the recent presidential elections, there are many questions floating around about Mormonism. Being members of the church, we are very happy to answer any sincere questions anyone may have about the Mormon religion. We definitely don't know everything, but we would love to help direct you to finding your answers. (lds.org is a great resource for everything about the Mormon church.) This site is dedicated to those who sincerely want to know who we are and what we stand for, if you are seeking a religious battleground, this is not the site for you. We look forward to answering your questions and clarifying any thing you just don't understand about us. Please feel free to express your questions freely and we'll try our best to answer them.

Holiday Cheer
The title says it all. Jill and I are simply exstatic to be taking tests and getting ready for finals that end a few days before Christmas. We've found comfort in holiday chocolate and old seasons of The Office. But...................we're STOKED to head down to AZ for the Holladays! In fact, this pic shows just how excited we are!

2 Days and counting...
Well, there's only 2 days till I run the Marathon. I'm feeling good and actually really excited about it. Last week I read Lance Armstrong's biography and it helped me get pumped up. He said something profound that I really hope will get me through the day. He said that pain is temporary but quitting lasts forever. I've decided that I'm running this for my husband and my kids too. This is something that I can show my kids that I actually completed it even when times where tough. I'm excited!!!

First posting
Today is my first post ever on the Ryan blog. Right now Dave is at school studying for the DAT and I am at work, just passing time. I've been rather sick this past week, which makes me somewhat nervous for the marathon which I'm running a week from Saturday. I was actually getting pretty pumped about it, but This week has dampened my spirit somewhat.
